Waking up on Christmas morning

Merry Christmas everyone!

It’s summertime here – and Christmas in the summer pretty much just feels like any other day. Some snow or a little gift giving would probably make it feel a bit more festive but as much as I’d love to send you all a gift – a little piece of Paraguay to clutter your shelves or desks with – I probably would’ve had to send it back in October and the lucky boxes – the ones that flew back with out getting re-routed to Papua New Guinea first – probably wouldn’t have made it ’til next week anyway.

So unfortunately, all you get is my best wishes (lucky you!) – and a glimpse of just a regular old day.

I’ve put up some photos – not of anything particularly special or anything tourists fly in to see – just of some stuff that slipped through the cracks of the other postings, because they didn’t seem that special – because I took them a little to much for granted. A lot of them are out of context (like a bowl of really oily Paraguayan soup) and someday maybe I’ll give you the stories behind them, but for now they’re just a look at some of what’s made so many random afternoons or mornings over the past year so… interesting. You can click on them off to the left to see the rest.

Wishing I could laugh at the stories about all these with all of you today – but I’ve got more to go out and find.

Have a great Christmas.

Kevin
